Farmer Enrollment
Registering new farmers and equip them to Coffee organic farming standard family. Tumaini Organic and Fair Trade AMCOS Limited through its Internal Control System coordinates the responsibility of enrolling new farmers under our firm, and these new farmers once registered will be given three years of probation and guidance before are fully converted to Organic farmers. During these three years the farmers will pass through the following stages:-
- C0 (C-zero Farmers)- First year of enrollment and are introduced to procedures of organic farming by the field officers.
- C1 (C-one Farmers)- Second year after enrollment and will continue to be under supervision and their farming activities being monitored if they comply with organic standards.
- C2 (C-two Farmers)-Final year of the enrolled farmers. after this year, all farmers who will have shown, exercised and implemented positively the organic standards in their fields will be converted directly and recognized as organic farmers.
